Paint a Smile is a program that provides young patients with bedside art lessons and crafts. Each week students visit the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia with designated projects and art plans. The patients get to relax, enjoy themselves and take their minds off everything that is going on.

Of course, the best part is the beautiful artwork that gets to hang on the hospital wall and brighten the patient's room.
Paint a Smile is a student run organization under the auspices of Chai Lifeline. It was founded in 2016 by University of Pennsylvania students looking to share their talents in art. These students realized how therapeutic and fun art can be and wanted to create a new outlet for the children of Chai Lifeline. Various teaching modules and lessons plans were created and distributed (with the necessary materials) to designated volunteers.
